Once the air is coming out from the diffuser, the dust is moved towards the vacuum unit. This method is useful to clean the small cross section. You can't use this method to clean the large cross section because the diffuser, often leaps back on itself. The other disadvantage of this method is its noise.    
MANUAL CLEANING
If the ductwork is too large to handle through the above mentioned method, you must clean it manually. The large ductwork can't be cleaned through rotary brush or compressed air. So with the help of manual cleaning one can clean the ductwork area easily.
